What is the Arena?

The Arena is Jumpstrt's competitive platform where founders compete on timed startup challenges. Think of it as a hackathon for startup ideas - you receive a prompt, build a concept, and submit for judging.

Arena competitions help you:

Competition Types

Daily Challenge 24 hours
Quick-fire daily prompts
A new prompt drops every day at 10 AM IST. You have 24 hours to submit your idea. Great for practicing rapid ideation.
Weekend Sprint 48 hours
More time for deeper thinking
Runs Friday evening to Sunday evening. Bigger prizes, more complex prompts, higher stakes.
Special Event Varies
Themed competitions with sponsors
Occasional sponsored events with specific themes (FinTech, EdTech, etc.) and larger prize pools.

How Judging Works

Arena submissions are evaluated through a hybrid system:

AI Scoring (60%)

Your submission is automatically validated through our AI, which scores it across the four pillars: Patent, Market, Competition, and Feasibility. This ensures objective, consistent evaluation.

Community Voting (40%)

Other participants and the Jumpstrt community can view and vote on submissions after the deadline. This adds a human element and rewards ideas that resonate.

Final Ranking

Your final score combines both components. Top performers are displayed on the leaderboard and may receive prizes.

Winning Strategy

Focus on clarity and specificity. Judges (AI and human) reward ideas that clearly articulate the problem, solution, and unique approach. Vague concepts rarely win.

Tips for Competing

  1. Read the prompt carefully - Make sure your idea actually addresses what's asked
  2. Don't just validate existing ideas - The prompt is often designed to push creative thinking
  3. Be specific to India - Prompts are India-focused; tailor your solution accordingly
  4. Unique angle wins - 50 people might address the prompt; what makes yours different?
  5. Submit early, refine later - You can update your submission until the deadline
  6. Quality over speed - A well-thought-out submission beats a rushed one

Building Your Ranking

Your Arena ranking is cumulative across all competitions. To climb the leaderboard:
